Past Prime Time Players present: 'The Last Footlights' on June 10

A musical comedy about the ups and downs of life after retirement

Gerdy (Pat Weaver) tells her friend about her crush on Noah (Mark Dean) in a rehearsal of the play "The Last Footlights" at Creswell Presbyterian Church on May 24. The two-act play, directed by Jan Felton, is written with older cast members in mind - something she says rarely happens. "As a senior myself and a theater person all my life, I felt it needed to be said, Felton said.

A delightful musical comedy about the ups and downs of life and love after retirement is making its way to Creswell. The Past Prime Time Players, a theater group for adults over 50, will be performing their production of "The Last Footlights" at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 10 at Creswell Presbyterian Church, 75 S. 4th St.

This year's cast includes local talent from Creswell residents: Tim Jenkins and Jacque Robertson act in the production, and Rock Oakeson is the production's music arranger and pianist.
