Margaret Fitch, of Cottage Grove, died Feb. 27, 2010 of age-related causes. She was 88.

She was born Nov. 25, 1921 in Dayton, Ore. to Roy and Ida Cinnamon Edwards. She married Charles M. Fitch, who died in 1989.

She was a homemaker.

Her survivors include: three sons, Gerald "Butch" Fitch of Cottage Grove, Ron Fitch of Alaska and Michael Fitch of Eugene, Ore.; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was inurned at Creswell Pioneer Cemetery following a private family service.

England's Creswell memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
