A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27 at Creswell Christian Center for Christopher Lane Brundidge of Carrolton, Texas, formerly of Creswell, who died Feb. 11, 2010. He was 23.

He was born Apr. 24, 1986, in Cottage Grove to Stephanie Stockton and Bryan Brundidge. He attended grade school and middle school in Creswell, and graduated from high school at The Colony High School in The Colony, Texas.

After graduation, he worked in wastewater management for the cities of Carrollton and Lewisview, Texas.

He loved being outdoors, be it fishing, camping or hunting. He loved to cook, especially barbecue. Sports were one of his interests; his favorite teams were the Oregon Ducks, Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks. He also enjoyed playing video games.

But he derived his greatest pleasure from his adored daughter Cheyanne.

He is survived by: his great-grandmother Winnie Brundidge; his grandparents, Don and Shirley Norris and Bruce Brundidge; his mother and father; his life partner Samantha Lipscomb; his daughter Cheyanne; his sister Melanie Brundidge; and his brothers, Jacob and Zachary Klabo.

Aunts and uncles Kim Cook, Kristina Pierce, Debbie Brockus and her husband Bill, Bryan Painter and his wife Amy and Tony Norris; nephews and nieces Taylor Brundidge, Destiny Wheeler and Hailey Ashley; cousins Aaron Pierce, Britney Pierce, Brandon Cook, Stacy Frazier, Ashly Frazier, Kennedy Painter and Morgan Painter; and numerous great aunts and uncles also survive him.

His grandmother Nita Brundidge and grandfather Lane Painter predeceased him.

He will be buried at Creswell Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements by Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas.
