In 2010, Siuslaw Bank will again award a $1500 Leadership Scholarship to a graduating senior student at each of the following Lane County high schools: Creswell, Cottage Grove, Crow/Applegate, Elmira, Lowell, Mapleton, Oakridge, Pleasant Hull, Siuslaw, Springfield and Thurston.

The scholarships will be awarded to the students who are judged to have the greatest combined scholastic aptitude and potential for community leadership. Dependents of Siuslaw Bank's employees are ineligible.

The deadline for applications is Feb. 26. Applications should be delivered to the applicant's local Siuslaw Bank branch by this deadline. Interviews will take place the week of Mar. 8.
