John Henry Holleman of Creswell died Jan. 6, 2010, of stroke. He was 56.

He was born May 5, 1953, in Southgate, Calif. to Herbert and Joan Rose Holleman. He married Kathryn Lee Downs on Nov. 18, 1976, in Oxnard Calif.

He served in the United States Navy. He worked as a master welder and remodeler, and earned an associate degree in respiratory therapy from Lane Community College..

He is survived by: his wife; his parents of Eugene; a daughter, Chantell Hayson of Cashmere, Wash.; two sons, James Hayson of Los Angeles, Calif. and Christopher Hayson of Creswell; two sisters, Kathleen Holleman of Springfield and Julie Holleman of Texas; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

No service is planned. Andreason's Cremation & Burial Services of Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
