Turkey Trot, food drive, Santa Store jumpstart holidays
The spirit of giving has arrived in triplicate at Creswell Middle School. On Nov. 26, students and staff participated in the school's fifth annual Turkey Trot and kicked off the school's annual food and money drive, and the CMS Santa Store opened on Dec. 1.

CMS volleyball trains future Lady Dawgs
As a first-year coach who graduated from Creswell High School in June 2008, Creswell Middle School's eighth-grade volleyball coach Joy Gernhardt said she was "really nervous entering the season. I didn't really know what to expect of the girls, parents, myself and the team as a whole."

Contingency funds to be used
to furnish new CMS building
Construction of the new building is on track for a move-in date during spring vacation, and use of the contingency funds will enable the ordering of furnishings that are expected to arrive in February in time for the transition.

UO Brain Bowl challenges sixth-graders
Fourteen Creswell Middle School sixth-graders tested their knowledge of various academic subjects during the Brain Bowl, a regional competition for middle school students held at the University of Oregon on May 6.
