The Kiwanis Club of Creswell conducted two holiday fundraisers with the help of Banner Bank, Joe’s Diner and local celebrity Dallas McCord.
The Club raised nearly $1,000 through their annual See’s Candy sales, relying largely upon the Banner Bank staff at the Creswell and Pleasant Hill branches. The local bank staffs have helped the Kiwanis each holiday season for many years.
Joe’s Diner successfully hosted the Club’s first Breakfast with Santa Claus event, which resulted in $300 being raised to help support the Food 4 Kids program conducted by the Creswell School District. Dozens of kids thrilled in the opportunity to sit and talk with Santa Claus while their doting parents took pictures.
Our community’s talented Dallas McCord performed marvelously as Santa during the morning long event at Joe’s.
Since becoming chartered in 1992 the Kiwanis Club of Creswell has raised over $250,000 to re-invest in our community by assisting local kids and those in need.
The Club and its members greatly appreciate the holiday efforts of Banner Bank, Joe’s Diner and Dallas McCord. Helping the Kiwanis raise funds contributes significantly to making our community a better place to live.
